WHO WE ARE

A family-run business, with our headquarters set amongst the green fields of Downend near Newport, AMP Hire Ltd has become the go-to provider for portable toilets, showers and temporary fencing across the Isle of Wight.

Set up in 2019 by our director Lee Priddle, we began with a fleet of just 60 portaloos (which has since grown to a collection of over 400!) and have seen the business expand tenfold in just the last three years.

Known for our reliable and professional service, competitive prices and vast
array of equipment and machinery, we supply everything from smallscale garden parties and weddings, to big commercial operations and mass participation events and festivals too.

We’re now the sole supplier to the annual Isle of Wight Festival (which attracts over 50,000 attendees each year) as well as providing services to the waste and construction industries, Red Funnel, Hovertravel, the National Trust and Walk the Wight. Always flexible and ready to adapt, we’ve even supplied buggies, drivers and sanitation units to film crews shooting the 2021 BritBox drama The Beast Must Die.

Available seven days a week, we offer daily, weekly or long-term hire of our
equipment and machinery, delivering direct to your door (or site) and picking up again once you’re project is complete.
