Event Toilets & Showers
From parties and weddings, to community events and festivals, we can provide all manner of different portable toilets to suit any occasion. They range from basic chemical recycling loos (with fitted hand sanitiser dispensers) to luxury mains-connected toilets with hot running water, lights and mirrors. All toilets have full flushing facilities, a transparent roof to allow plenty of light in – plus air vents to keep everything fresh and fragrance-free. If needed, toilet attendants can be supplied and we can offer daily cleaning too (along with a tank emptying service for those toilets not plumbed into the mains).
Construction Industry Toilets & Showers
For construction sites and industrial clients, we can provide special builder-specification toilets – as well as portable shower blocks and mobile canteens too (more on those below). Our fleet of individual shower cubicles only needs a supply of cold water from the mains to get going, as the 7kW water heater inside will do all the hard work, allowing for a pleasant, fully temperature-controlled showering experience. We’ve had many, many years of working with commercial clients (including Thalia, formerly known as Amey PLC) so we know exactly what they’re looking for and what they’ll require.
Portable Canteen & Welfare Units
Ideal for the construction industry and outdoor festivals, our eco-friendly welfare units offer an all-in-one kitchen, canteen and office, as well as a drying room and an externally accessed toilet. Perfect for any size of site, they come in either a 12ft long or 16ft long unit and are set on hydraulic axles for smoothly manoeuvring into place. The kitchen area has ample room, with running hot
water, a microwave, kettle and integrated heating system. Units are stainless steel with high gloss wall surfaces, making them sleek, smart and easy to clean.
The canteen area provides seating for 6 to 8 people and includes USB charging points to keep phones, laptops and other devices fully charged. Keeping running costs down, there are also a number of sustainable features built in, including rooftop solar panels, insulated walls and movement-activated lighting.

Temporary Fencing, Matting & Trackways
To help you tick off your health and safety requirements and keep events or construction sites secure, we also provide temporary Heras fence panels which come with anti-tamper couplers and hi-visibility feet as standard. Pedestrian or vehicle gates can be added, as well as matting, trackways and smaller crowd barriers too. Just let us know what event or scheme you’ve got in mind and we’ll tell you what you’ll need.
Machinery Sales
Aside from providing our portable toilets and temporary fencing for hire, AMP also offers machinery sales – giving you a chance to pick up anything from nifty forklift trucks to state-of-the-art diggers. With strong industry connections to a number of trusted suppliers, we can offer more construction hardware than you might imagine. The price varies based on the type of toilet you’re looking for and the duration you need to hire, so please contact us to get a quote. Delivery and collection starts from £30.00 each way plus VAT.
AMP offers a range of toilets, from basic chemical recycling toilets with integrated hand gel dispensers (often used for the construction industry) to luxury toilet blocks which plug into the mains and which offer hot running water, lighting, mirrors and individual hand basins.
Prices usually include a free weekly clean by a trained service person and
replenishment of soap / hand gel and toilet roll.
If you choose to hire a toilet block which is connected to the mains, the process of connecting and disconnecting the unit on-site is the responsibility of the
customer.
AMP Hire not only offers portable toilets but we can also provide portable
shower blocks, urinals, welfare units (which include an office, kitchen, canteen and drying room), temporary fencing with gates, crowd barriers, matting, trackway, picnic tables and a range of other equipment and machinery too.
